One of the key reasons we have created this community is to raise funds and awareness for local and national LGBTQ+ charities and causes. Here is a list of the charities and causes we have supported so far.

MindOut

MindOut is a Brighton-based mental health service run by and for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queet people. They work to improve the mental health and wellbeing of all LGBTQ+ communities and to make mental health a community concern.

AKT

AKT, the Albert Kennedy Trust, is a Manchester-based charity supporting LGBTQ+ young people aged 16-25 in the UK who are facing or experiencing homelessness or living in a hostile environment. They support young people into safe homes and employment, education or training, in a welcoming and open environment that celebrates LGBTQ+ identities.

Galop

Galop is the UK's anti-abuse charity for the LGBTQ+ community. They work with and for LGBT+ victims and survivors of abuse, specialising in supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, hate crime, honour-based abuse, forced marriage, so-called conversion therapies, and other forms of interpersonal abuse

George House Trust

George House Trust has been established since 1985, and has been inspiring people living with HIV to live healthy, confident lives by providing HIV support, advice and advocacy services.

Mermaids

Mermaids has been supporting trans, non-binary and gender-questioning children and young people and the important people in their lives since 1995. They provide services directly to trans children, young people, and their families, and work to educate and inform professionals and organisations who want to be part of a society where trans children and young people are safe, included and empowered to be their best selves.
